Rental

Can anyone rent a costume?

Certainly! Both companies and individuals can rent a costume from us at any time, along with anything else that meets your needs.

What are the rates for renting a costume or accessories?

- Fast service: prices are budget-friendly, averaging around €40.
- Premium rental: costume quality is high. Rates start from €80. Such clothing is intended for theater, stage, etc., but of course also for personal purposes.

Are all rental items on the website?

Not everything. In fact, we have over 100,000 items in our warehouse. It's better to send an email or give us a call. That way, we can assist you in finding exactly what you need.

Do you also rent weapons?

Yes. We sell AND rent weapons. These are quality weapons through our collaboration with the company Denix. We are an official Denix retailer in Belgium.

Do I need to pay a deposit to rent a costume?

Yes. The deposit starts at €50 and theatrical costumes from €100, but the more costumes you rent, the higher the deposit.

Do you deliver the rented items to our home?

No. You must pick up the costume yourself at the store.

For how long can I rent the costume?

1 day for the week. On the weekend (Friday or Saturday), you can pick up the costume and return it on Monday. This also counts as 1 day. Exceptions are seasonal rentals such as Sinterklaas, Easter, and Christmas.

Do I need to wash the costume when I return it?

No worries. It doesn't need to be washed, as that is all included in the price. We take care of everything :)

What happens if I return the rented costume damaged?

It depends on the extent and nature of the damage. We will assess it accordingly.

What are the payment options?

Here are the options:
- Cash
- Bancontact

What is the difference between fast rental and premium?

- Fast rental: all preparations have been made (including ironing, washing), and the budget-friendly costumes are ready to be taken immediately. No appointment is necessary.
- Premium rental: an appointment is necessary. We ensure that the costume is fully customized to resemble the character exactly. It takes time and manpower to prepare the costume for personal or professional purposes.

Sales

Can I rent the products for sale in the store?

No. For various reasons (including hygiene), we do not rent out the items in the store itself. They are for sale only.

Do you also sell makeup?

Absolutely. You can find several makeup items (including Grimas & Kryolan) of better quality for professional and personal purposes at our checkout and online. Colored lenses can be purchased from the age of 16.

Is it possible to return the purchased item?

In principle, no. However, we may consider issuing a voucher if you have a receipt.

Is it possible to exchange the purchased item?

Upon presentation of the receipt, it is possible to exchange the item within a week. However, it must be in its original packaging. Tip: for costumes, you can always try them on in our fitting rooms.

Store

Is the store open on holidays?

No. We are closed on holidays.

How can I physically reach Huis Baeyens?

We are located in a perfect location that is easily accessible by car, bike, on foot, and by public transport. There is parking available for our store. You can also reach the store by bus 20, 140, and 141.

Is there a shipping/pick-up point available?

Yes. Currently, there is Homerr and Mondial Relay.

Do you collaborate with others?

Absolutely! In the past, we have collaborated with large companies, influencers, and even participated in TV programs. So, they are always welcome! ;)
